Wendy has had a diverse career in marketing and advertising which began at a Manchester magazine publishing house in the early nineties. Subsequent moves into regional press and direct marketing widened her knowledge and experience, and it was in the late nineties that she first met Guy Bartlett. She went on to join Guy’s direct marketing agency as an Account Director working on JD Sports, Iceland and Sainsburys.
Wendy has worked on some diverse consumer and business brands across all facets of marketing including advertising, branding, content creation and distribution, digital marketing and direct marketing.
More recently, Wendy worked with Guy on one of his early acquisitions and now drives the lead generation and marketing at Fidelis Group, seeking potential new opportunities with investors and business owners. She is also responsible for developing the brand identity and market positioning for Fidelis Group and is now creating similar strategies for our subsidiaries. Like most of the Fidelis leadership team, Wendy has also been a business owner and understands the challenges (and the opportunities) faced by business owners in the UK.
